The Networking Process
1. The Korean American Information Services, LLC's ("KAIS") KAFT.NET/ KAFamilyTree.com ("KAFT.NET") KA Networking service is available only to KAFT.NET members. Users are bound by KAIS's Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, and Membership Agreement. Users who wish to participate in the Networking Service must also accept the terms and conditions of the KA Networking Agreement.
2. KA Networking is for KAFT.NET members. Therefore User's family tree member data must be in the KAFT.NET database.
3. A KA Networking User must fill out the attached profile table. If KAIS discovers that User's information on the profile table is incorrect, KAIS may terminate that User's access to the KA Networking service.
4. As part of the service, a User may contact KAIS for any specific networking request. There may be an initial question and answer session to determine what is needed for the member. Service charges must be agreed upon for specialized and/or any personalized services. Please read and check some of specialized services listed in the profile table, and/or ask us at KANetwork@kaft.net. If application has to be in Korean, the applicant has to contact KAIS for more information.
5. KAIS will search its database to locate matches. A KAIS professional will study the individual data until he/she finds members that have a high probability of successful networking.
6. KAIS will e-mail both parties about its findings without divulging the identities or any other specifics of any party. KAIS may provide additional information if both parties approve.
7. If both parties agree, KAIS will provide means for the parties to meet or communicate for a period of time. KAIS also assists either party to cancel or terminate the communication. If Korean is the only form of communication, KAIS may provide assistance.
8. If both parties agree to exchange additional information (e.g. pictures, family data, and/or other materials) or desire to meet, KAIS may facilitate such mechanism.
